During exercise at the Guantanamo Detention center, an afghan prisoner, Awal Malim Gul, accused of being a leader of the Taliban and a part of the Al Qaeda, collapsed and died. He was using a stair-stepping elliptical machine and legal reports state that he collapsed during exercise, but the military claims it was after he was exercising and was showering at the time of the collapse. Awal was the seventh prisoner to die to come to this detention center, one died of colon cancer, the others of suicide.
